It is crazy to think that I am going to Africa. It is one of those things everyone talks about but no one ever does. I’ve heard stories from people, both of who have gone and who have wanted to go, and to be able to do something this young at my age is just mind boggling to me for real. I’m still processing the fact that I was able to already go abroad to El Salvador. It is crazy to think that I have been able to do something like this at my age. I said I wanted to do it so I’m going to do it.
It’s a blessing and an honor to be able to go all the way around the world to go and serve others. I am very excited to go. I heard the food is great, and so are the people, but most importantly, the needs are also great in a country like Kenya or Uganda.
