The word that has been with me though both my Portugal trip and my summer internship is “trust.” I have had this word in my mind for sometime now. This has been on my mind because I have had to trust the Lord through a lot of things. This trip was not on my agenda at first. I was only going to do my Portugal trip and have to miss out on Summer Internship. But after the conversation with one of my teachers, he helped me see that it could be possible for me to do both.
This was something that I needed to go to God with, I spent a lot of time praying and asking God if I should go our not. I kept feeling to Lord telling me to go, so I had to trust him. This word trust started to grow more and more and connect with a lot of things with me throughout both of my trips. This trip has me staying close to the Lord and trusting him, Trusting him when I feel scared, or feel angry, or feel any sort of doubt. This word will continue to be with me, and I will continue to TRUST in God
