This week really showed me how grateful I am to be with people of the same faith serving those in need.
When I first became a Christian, I begged for the Lord to provide me community and people that cared to know God’s Word. Now, I just finished one of the best weeks of my life serving with people and young kids who have some of the most beautiful hearts I’ve ever seen and truly love the Lord and what He is doing in their lives.
If you would have told me when I first came to the faith that I would be where I am at now, I wouldn’t have believed you.
This week, SLAM taught me that the Lord is good to keep His promises, and just as He is sure to listen to us when we cry out to Him, He will surely be faithful to answer our prayers if we ask in His name!
