Hello Blog family! Back again and writing from El Salvador! I am so blessed to have been able to travel and serve here for the first (but not the last) time. We arrived in the city of San Salvador on the 20th and our week has been so full! Leadership conferences, SALM service week, soccer tournaments, and more.
Through this all I have had a couple truths running through my mind on repeat, sustaining me and guiding me. The first is that “your feelings can deceive you.” I cling to this and it reminds me that my perception and conclusions about reality are not always reliable and that I need to ask questions and believe people I love over my initial feelings on something. It reminds me that I need to submit my understanding and will to the Lord.
The second is the passage of Galatians 5:16-26, I have diligently praying for the Lord to fill me with his Spirit so that fruit might be the product.
