Being my third internship, my experience has always been exquisite but in different ways. Every trip there is a new theme and new ways to take it all in. I’m feeling blessed by the fact that I have the opportunity to be a part of the family of faith. Observing how God has provided us a hospitable environment to learn his word has opened my mind and heart open to his ideas. The education that I have received has made me change my perspective on his will. I think I need to be developed by God through the modelling that happens in the trip. All the trip leaders do productive work to demonstrate to us how to serve and be someone who can implement the lessons. I have observed God move people’s heart, calling them to be part of God’s kingdom.
God has opened my eyes. I have seen his desire, and have chosen to follow him to the end. Special thanks to Mr. Garner, because every time he talks he has authority and new information to lead towards the Father. Every time I feel like I need more. I really needed this education. This summer internship through sharing, engaging in build up conversations, SLAM and bible studies {more so the one on 1 Peter 2:9} have shown me how God’s people should live and it’s in my heart to make it happen. I declare with conviction that I give all my life to Jesus. We are one.
