Day 4 (I think) – Body of Christ

I have really been blessed by how GOD Intl works with and operates within connection to other churches and youth groups to accomplish the mission of God. Even just in this SLAM service camp week, there are 5 different youth groups all here, serving together, worshiping together, and learning the Word of God together. I have been so encouraged to see the reality of bonding because of the unifying pursuit of Jesus as a real thing. It is powerful to watch kids trust each other and enjoy each other as they are serving with recent strangers. It reminds me of how Paul would write letters to his brothers and sisters in other churches, how much he supported them even though they lived far away from each other.

I think that G.O.D. Intl does this well even overseas in the other regions they serve in. They serve with people who love God and want to give their lives to him. They strive to support, educate, and empower every believer that we come in contact with, and care for those who do not yet know the Lord. I am blessed to be a part of this ministry and proud of how we work to connect as the body of Christ despite distance, denomination, or current depth of knowledge of the Lord.
I am so excited to work with the church and youth leaders in El Salvador, Uganda, and Kenya so soon!
