One impactful moment while in Morristown was definitely their church. I was nervous before going to church. Most of them only spoke English and I know zero Spanish. When we got there, it wasn’t what I was expecting. I was expecting everyone to stay away from me. It was the exact opposite. Everyone came to us and hugged us even though they barely knew me. They made me feel welcomed and not left out. Then, we had worship. Almost all of it was in Spanish. That didn’t bother me though. I tried my best to sing the lyrics but I mostly just prayed and talked to the Lord. He covered me in his presence. It was AMAZING!!!!!
