A local project in Nashville that surprised me is the Baltmore Apartments. At the apartments, I was expecting to go around helping people with like fixing or cleaning things. Instead, we go and gather children up and just keep them occupied. We play soccer, blow bubbles, play on the playground, and water guns. We even played on a waterslide. I see this project helping me to serve abroad because there are many kids there. This project is teaching me how to deal with kids as well as patience. This project is teaching me way more than I expected.
