This past week, us Interns got to run another SLAM camp but in El Salvador! The week is filled with prayer, worship, and service projects. The time we had with the Salvadoran youth was nothing short of amazing. Not only did we have so much fun, but we all worked so hard and saw the fruit on the other side of our labor.
One core memory from working with the Salvadoran youth this past week was their testimony time. Testimony time happened at the end of the week. I was so blessed to see student after student get up and get in line to share what God had done in their heart during the week. One student in particular, I was surprised to see him get up and get in line to testify. I hadn’t heard him speak much at all over the course of the week. Not only did he get up in line to testify, but he included scripture and references from several of the sermons in his testimony. This student though he was quiet, God did something special in his heart. It was such a blessing to hear.
