Preparing for a school trip is wildly different from preparation for serving Jesus. On a school trip you really just need to bring some technology with capability for recording and writing down newly acquired information. While serving Jesus you are still learning but you need a lot more with you then technology that can hold information. The first day of internship made this very clear, we had to pack supplies we would need for every day living as well as some journals. Our focus wasn’t on technology because we aren’t trying to just store information the focus of this is to learn the Bible and live out God’s word through service. Internship is about the development of people this is different then just having head knowledge and having a place to store it.
