I was very moved by the testimony that Pastora Zenaida shared with us the morning we departed from Morristown. She shared with us her personal testimony of God rescuing her out of a religious institution that was placing limits and restrictions on her that weren’t Biblical.
She testified to God always providing for her at the right time when she prayed. She shared about how she had to trust God to take care of her family as she continued to live her life in obedience to him, and lastly, she shared that God had placed on her heart that Morristown would be light to the nations. This happened when her two daughters were very little, and she told us a story of how she printed flyers saying “Morristown is a light to the nations” putting them up all over town. She then said that, although it was originally a dream and a promise that she was hoping for, and waiting over 20 years to see, she was finally seeing it.
Through the unity of our team and our church coming together, she had seen that this has begun. She exhorted us saying that our team is the light of the world, and we will be the light when we go out to El Salvador, Uganda, and Kenya. She told us that we had brought light to Morristown, and she shared about the excellent work God is doing to build up Morristown through our shared efforts. We dreamt together about who the people of Morristown will be within their own community, and soon, to the nations. She spoke with authority and strength, and I felt the Spirit of the Lord so strongly through her testimony.
