One impactful moment I had while in Morristown was during worship on the second evening of our Morristown trip. During worship, I am usually sitting behind the computer in the back of the room controlling the lyrics. I have the best seat honestly. I look out and see the whole room of leaders, pastors, and students who are from across the world all together worshiping because we have the same goal- to be a light to all nations. In that time of worship there was no division. God connected us through his spirit. Worshiping in a different language did not cause disunity but brought us closer together. When I was looking out at everyone crying out to the Lord in English and Spanish, I got a glimpse of heaven. The Lord’s presence was palpable and the room was filled with peace. The moment impacted me because I understood in that moment that Morristown is a light to the nations and God has brought two communities of people to be together as one.
