Boot Camp has made me have to use all of myself, there has been no room to live in my comfort zone. I have been pushed to use my talents both strongest and weakest which is making me to become a better servant for God. In a school trip id have the opportunity to do the bare minimum to just let me leaders do what they need to, but in boot camp as a trainee there is heavy emphasis on initiative. You have to be able to initiate good conversations, be a servant leader, become discerning to God’s voice and where he is directing you. Preparing for this trip I’ve continue to remind myself that what I’m doing is much bigger then myself it about all the kids I’m serving this week in SLAM, and how it is preparing me to serve as in the third world.
