This time in Kenya was really productive in a way that I got to use my skills to serve and even be a blessing to others.
The time I used my skills was when I told the Slam student to play a soccer with me and I was connecting them to know each other because they were coming from different areas.
What I came to know is that most of them don’t have play station like soccer fields were to play from. Seeing them super happy working together seeing different types of colors, black brown and white having a great moments, its a good testimony.
Seeing all those students engaging and learning God’s word, It was such a blessing. I had a SLAM student called Derrick and he was telling me about how has been blessed by the sermons of Mr Garner.
He said to me, “The way Mr Garner was connecting the verses from how God was creating man in Genesis and that of Jesus healing a blind man. That he has never experienced, seen and heard that in all his sermons before.
It wasn’t about just healing or opening up his eyes but it meant that Jesus was educating him and that we need that education my the word of God through Jesus to serve in Gods Kingdom.
