This past week we went to a new associate for Church Community for GOD. This church was in Uyawi Town where the main occupations are gold mining and fishing. They are both hard and dangerous jobs that can be draining for the residents there. The pastor of the new church is Pastor Florencio and his family.
Pastor Florencio shared with us his struggles and testimony to founding this new church. He shared with us vulnerably the challenges of finding a new place to start the church and the times where him and his family would go hungry.
The faithfulness he demonstrated to the vision God told him to start the new church was very impactful to hear. As a lot of people would give up thinking that it’s too much work to do something new. Keeping your prayers for the members of the church to keep growing! I loved visiting God’s faithful people.
