El Shaddai Temple

El Shaddai Temple, was the first church we visited in Uganda! It located in a small town surrounded by shops. When we arrived we were immediately welcomed by the church members and were very excited to host us. This was not an ordinary service as our group were being introduced to all of the new associative churches with The Community Church for GOD!

A Majority of the pastors were able to come. They would present a little bit about themselves, their church, and some gave small testimonies of what God has done. It was very encouraging to hear their walks with God and their new partnership with us.

Later after the service the church served us food, which consisted of rice, chicken, and some traditional foods such as chapati and matoke. It was delicious and so much food. I felt very loved and appreciated because I knew the church members took so much time to cook enough food for everyone in the church. A part of African culture I really appreciate is the value of hosting and making an hospitable environment for their guests.
