Jesus said that in his father’s house there is many rooms. This means there’s a place for the varying personalities found in the sociosphere (a term I coined myself, which refers to the global network of interpersonal connections between individuals )
A team dedicated to developing people will struggle to function if they don’t have a diverse group of people with different skillsets, able to pick up the various roles for the team.
This trip features many, many type A individuals (As opposed to type B, the adaptable, often creative counterpart, type A individuals are typically excellent planners, yet struggle in unfamiliar environments)
So alotta peeps here are obviously havin a great time not knowing the schedule, and havin to move around quickly. Now I don’t know about you, but I personally am having a ball.
It’s been educational seeing the team function within the constraints of our environment. Traveling with this many people, there’s many variables, and we’re learning to work alongside one another.
It reminds me of this performing arts class I took. By the end of the class, we had all developed such close connections, I think it really set us up for this trip.
A team really can’t function if we don’t realize that we all love each other, and are not out to get one another, and at the end of the day, we’re all on the same side.
I can’t wait to see how close our team will turn out after this!
